MADE FOR SKATE - THE EXHIBITION

This exhibition examines the history of modern skateboard footwear design from the 1960s to the present, linking history to the development of the skateboard culture and technology. It displays with hundreds of exhibits how skateboard shoes have changed and evolved first from the use of no shoes over simple boat shoes and early basketball sneakers to hightech performance skateboard footwear. 

Curated by Juergen Bluemlein and Daniel Schmid and accompanied with MADE FOR SKATE - The Book and the iPhone and iPod touch app.
